Time to get real, folks. Time for some third grade angst.

I know that mommy's mad at me. Because she called me and I called back. Then she said I was to come when called. When I left she said I rolled my eyes. But I still love mommy. Life woundlen't be the same without her. She's nice!

I am so mad because mommy and Adam watched the Price is Right without me! How mean! The Price is Right is a game show that we wach in the morning. But there's always tomorrow, but tomorrow is in 35 hours!
As an adult who works with children, I frequently see them become highly indignant over silly incidents on par with missing a viewing of The Price is Right. It can be hard not to laugh, and I'm sure Adam and Mom were (justly) bemused when I got all bent out of shape.
I laughed a lot after rereading that entry, which also unburied the memory of how we did indeed go through a phase of watching The Price is Right every day that summer. I believe my roommates and I went through the same phase my freshman year of college. We would come back from our first classes, eat Pop Tarts, and watch The Price is Right.
And hey...some days certainly FEEL 35 hours long....
